I have been searching for a fashionable and petite-friendly leather jackets for the past few months. However, they are either too long or too expensive. I fell in love with this Kaylee Leather Biker Jacket the moment I saw it when I was shopping in BCBG Maxazria store this weekend. I bought it without hesitation since my size (xxs) has been sold out online.
The jacket was made of soft lamb leather with a removable faux fur trim neck collar. I’m surprised how chic and cozy it is with the fur on, but I like to wear it without the fur thanks to the warm winter in Houston. The length of this jacket is perfect for petite girls like me and can be easily paired with dresses without worrying about it making me look even shorter. I received tons of praises wearing it with my Joie Akeela Romper during the weekend. I also plan to wear it with my hoodies and jeans when I feel more causal. I also like the details of this jacket, especially the zippers and metal hardware that made it more urban-chic looking. Although the belt isn’t removable, it looks great wearing it without zipping and buckling it up.
Another favorite purchase recently is the Akeela Border Print Romper (in caviar) from Joie. I have always been a romper lover. It became one of my favorite pieces in my wardrobe due to its exotic border print in pretty pink and blue tones. The fabric is a soft billowy silk, which is perfect for warm weather.
I usually wear size xxs from Joie, but I bought size xs instead since that was the only one left in store. The romper fits fine on me since it’s meant to be loose fitting, although the three-quarter sleeves fit like full sleeves on me. The color I have is caviar, which has been sold out both in stores and online. However, the color porcelain is still available from Amazon.
By the way, my baby girl just turned 6 months old during the weekend and we had a nice time together taking pictures. I can’t wait for her to grow up so she can dress up to match me! Thanks for reading! I hope you all have a nice week!
